You should also follow all instructions from your dentist and orthodontist about how to properly maintain good oral health while in braces. Failing to brush or floss can show visibly on teeth after braces are removed (in the form of white spots, etc.) and can also lead to larger health issues.

We still provide our patients with clear retainers that fit over the teeth and wire, and we recommend still wearing the clear retainer every night.
